Hey y’all!
I'm Victoria, a bookkeeper, business owner, and mom of over a decade.
I didn’t plan on becoming a business owner, it just happened. I started my bookkeeping firm 13 years ago while in college, with a baby on my hip and a dream I couldn’t afford to let go of. It was chaotic and crazy, but I showed up every single day and made it work.
At one point, I was making $50 after paying for daycare. But I had a long-term vision, and I knew that if I stopped, I’d have to start all over again. I couldn’t risk losing the flexibility I needed to be there for my family.
Fast forward to now, I’ve worked behind the scenes in hundreds of businesses from fresh startups to multi-million-dollar companies. And here’s what I’ve learned:
It’s never just about the numbers.
💬 It’s about support and connection.
After years of pushing through, I hit burnout. I had built something strong, but I was tired of pretending I could do it all alone. What I missed most wasn’t just the work, it was the real conversations. The quiet one-on-one moments with women building something they care deeply about.
So many moms start businesses because they love what they do not because they want to be “business owners.” And then suddenly, you’re juggling licenses, taxes, admin, and bookkeeping… while trying to hold onto the thing that sparked it all.
These roles weren’t part of the dream, but they come with it.
This blog is for you if you are the mom building something beautiful, even when it’s messy. It’s a place for honest stories, practical tips, and gentle reminders that your work matters. But so does your well-being.
Because business needs a village just as much as motherhood does.
You're not just building a business. You're building a life. And around here, we honor both.
Around here, we believe:
You set goals that work for you.
Your progress is better than perfection.
When faith fuels your work, there’s no limit to what you can build!
A little about me…
My faith and prayers have carried me through every season. Also... coffee and the occasional swear word.
Some of my biggest lessons have come from my kids. If we slow down and listen, they have so much to teach us.
I’ve started this to share what I’ve learned. Not from a textbook, but from real life, messy experience. If it helps even one woman avoid the same mistakes, that’s a win.
This space was made with you in mind. Whether you're a mom, a business owner, or a woman striving to live with purpose, you're in the right place.
Take a look around and reach out anytime. You don’t have to do this alone, we’re here to support you.
